2021 Grant Information

Dear Colleagues –

Our 2021 annual grant cycle has opened and we welcome your applications. We again offer Community Grants up to $10,000 and Impact Grants up to $25,000.  Applications are open until Friday, September 17, 2021.

We have a new web-based grant application this year.  We expect this to be a more user-friendly process which removes some of the challenges applicants have faced in the past. Other than that, our process will remain largely the same.  We will review applications by the end of September and invite those we are interested in learning more about for an interview.  We will decide then whether these will be in person or via Zoom.  We hope to be able to hold our Grant Award event in November, but again, will decide closer to that time.  Grant funding will be available by early November.

As many of you know, in March 2020 we created an Emergency Response Fund to provide rapid assistance to meet urgent needs related to Covid-19.  That fund has awarded over $789,000 to 30 community organizations.  It is still open and accepting applications for organizations with needs directly related to the pandemic.

The 2021 Grant Application may be found on our website at marthasvineyardcf.org or through this link.  Applications must be submitted online by 6:00pm on Friday, September 17, 2021.
