Planned Giving & Legacy
Introducing the Martha’s Vineyard Legacy Circle
The Martha’s Vineyard Community Foundation is proud to launch the Martha’s Vineyard Legacy Circle, our planned giving program. Help us ensure our diverse, interdependent community thrives in perpetuity.
Now you can leave a legacy to protect our special Island and the well being of all who live and work here. Make a bequest through your will or estate plan with confidence that your charitable gift will make the greatest impact for generations to come.
Many Options to Meet Your Philanthropic Goals and Family Estate Planning Needs
When you designate the Martha’s Vineyard Legacy Circle as a beneficiary, you can target your gift to causes you care about deeply. You can also establish a fund in a loved ones or your own name. It is a wonderful way to leave a legacy that benefits causes close to your heart while retaining assets during your lifetime.
There are several ways to leave a bequest to the Legacy Circle, including through a:
- Will or trust
- IRA or other retirement plan
- Insurance policy
- Securities
- Real estate property
- Other financial assets
Planned gifts may include revocable as well as irrevocable gifts.
