Emergency Response Fund
The Emergency Response Fund was established in March 2020 to address sudden and urgent issues brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. As the needs of our community have evolved, so has this fund, and it remains as relevant as ever.
We believe it is a core responsibility of the Community Foundation to maintain this agile, immediate- support resource and fund a variety of Island nonprofits that meet acute challenges of vulnerable populations.
“Our food security program is playing an increasingly instrumental role in ensuring Island youth and families have consistent access to healthy and nutritious meals.”
Dhakir Warren
