2023 Grant Awards Announced
Nov. 02, 2023
DEAR FRIENDS AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS,
This year, we are proud to announce grants totaling $421,000 to 38 outstanding local nonprofits. With exceptional applications seeking almost $800,000 in funding, we witnessed the largest demand ever from our Island’s remarkable nonprofits, and faced a significant challenge to meet the pressing and vast needs of our community.
This year’s grant recipients cover a wide range of initiatives, each designed to make a significant and positive impact on the lives of Island residents, and strengthen the very fabric of our community. They are a testament to the power of our community coming together to make a difference, especially in the areas of meeting critical needs, increasing access and inclusion, educational opportunities for all ages, and promoting collaboration.
The proof of a community foundation is in the work of our esteemed partners. We are grateful for their hard work and dedication to enriching our community.
