The Permanent Endowment Fund for Martha’s Vineyard

Announces its Fall 2016 Grant Cycle

The Permanent Endowment is proud to partner with the island’s dedicated and creative organizations and initiatives that are working to enrich and improve the quality of life on Martha’s Vineyard.  Our grants provide financial support to those organizations that help enhance the special character of this island.

The Endowment seeks applications for its Fall 2016 grant cycle.  We encourage applications that are responsive to community needs, that offer creative solutions to emerging issues, and that support the quality of life on the island.

Grants are awarded for new projects as well as for continuing programs across all aspects of island life including Arts and Culture, Community Enrichment, Education, Environment, and Health and Well Being. We have transitioned to a once yearly grant cycle in order to have a greater impact with our funds.  This fall we anticipate awarding $125,000 in grants ranging in size from $1,000 to $10,000.

The 2016 Grant Application, which includes a list of criteria used for decision-making, may be found on our website at endowmv.org.   Applications must be submitted online by midnight on September 15, with grants awarded in early November.
